Teaching Background

I've been in Higher Education since 2009 and taught the KSS course more than anyone else. By very large numbers, students express an appreciation for the course afterward and are pleased to have a better understanding of how engaged citizenship makes American society better for everyone.

In 2022 I walked all the way across Northern England along Hadrian's Wall (about 90 miles).

I then rode bike from Ravenglass to Newcastle.

In 1976 I was made an honorary Geordie.

Since 2006 I have produced and hosted the radio simulcast, Toy Drive for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. This could never have happened without the support of Omaha's musicians.

My dad, sister, brother, and I have Doctorates.
